Cream Cheese Bacon Bombs

I love an occasional rain in summer. The warmth…the steady drumming of drops against the window…the earthy smell of wet green. If you relax into the moment, there’s an almost mandatory slow-down that lulls you into a glorious peace. It’s the kind of puttering bliss that makes you feel like you have all the time in the world. It’s the best backdrop for good friends, making good food, and good conversation.
Here’s a recipe that is perfect for a rainy weekend brunch. There’s bacon. There’s cream cheese. There’s maple syrup. It tastes divine.
Obviously you can make it yourself, but I’m thinking Cream Cheese Bacon Bombs are the sort of thing to make and eat with a friend. Dip these bombs in maple syrup, chat a little, eat a little more.
The last time I was at Walmart I bought Jimmy Dean® Hickory Smoked Bacon. I don’t know what’s taken me so long to purchase Jimmy Dean® bacon. It’s a premium bacon with a premium taste. Next time I’m going to try the Jimmy Dean® Applewood Smoked Bacon.
Yes. There will be a next time with this recipe. Several next times! And you don’t have to wait for a rainy day to make this. Bacon is to be enjoyed in any and all weather! Oh Bite it has some amazing recipes for Bacon Bombs. I think you will love her version of French Toast Bacon Bombs as well as these Bacon Cheeseburger Bombs.
