I’m no Howie Mandell, but I try to avoid anyone who coughs or has a red nose. That’s hard to do, especially during the winter season. It seems like every other person is coughing. Although I can’t dodge every sniffler, there are a few things I do to keep healthy and stave off sickness.

CARA CARA ORANGE SMOOTHIE

Ingredients

  • 1 Cara Cara Orange, peeled
  • 1 carrot, peeled and chopped into chunks
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup of ice
  • ½ cup water

Instructions

  1. Pour water and orange into the bottom of a blender. Add carrots, bananas, and ice.
  2. Blend until smooth.
