Boy’s Bowling Themed 8th Birthday

By  | Last Updated:

Boys Bowling Party strikes again and Mom is declared a winner! Mom-Jodie obviously had some good birthday party ideas when she cerebrated on the celebration for her son’s 8th birthday theme! As the photos from Jilly B Photography prove, Jodie took her cake, decoration supplies, dessert table and favors right to the bowling alley for an afternoon of birthday fun.

Jodie’s dessert table is a festive collection of stripes and polka dots in red, white and black. Her arrangement includes a framed picture of her son and his first name initial. A bowling ball garland fronts the table that’s topped with a banner whose arrow highlights the birthday boy’s name. Real bowling pins deliver a focal point that serve to call attention to the centrally located “strike” birthday cake.

Shiny buckets are filled with scrunched, red tissue paper and yummy “bowling ball” cake pops. More theme cookies are piled around the cake, too. Don’t the striped favor bags look cute? They have each been personalized with guest names and theme stickers. The guest table coordinates with the dessert table. The shiny buckets reappear here, too, for cheerful pops of color. Simple white cups are dressed up with red and white checks and striped straws.

Party hats and noise makers keep the guys busy until cake time. A table full of boys wearing black glasses and false noses—I’m sure that jump-started giggles and guffaws!

The guest of honor wore a special t-shirt, custom designed for the celebration, which he can keep as a memento from the party, but I bet this fun afternoon will live on in his memory, with or without that cute t-shirt.

Kudos to Mom for a great job!
