Chevron is definitely a popular pattern and Two Little Jays did a dino-mite job incorporating it into their styling. I like the lime green and white chevron fabric choice for their dessert table backdrop. The Joseph is 2 signage in brown and orange really popped against it. Plus, it allowed all of the prehistoric treats to really stand out as well. Josie also added a touch of rustic to the feel by using burlap as a runner and by covering serving vessels for displaying treats.
Speaking of treats, the variety of cute, theme-coordinating treats is unbelievable. Lets talk about that amazing cake by Queen Baker! Definitely the focal point of the table, the darling fondant dinosaur and #2 toppers mixed with fondant chevron detailing, really stood out. Also prepared by Queen Baker was the delicious looking mousse, éclairs and lemon meringue tarts. Sweet Pops by Emily baked the too-cute-for words dinosaur and dino egg cake pops. Im always so impressed by the little details that go into making spectacular desserts. Two Little Jays contributed the dinosaur cookies, chocolate coated Oreos and the Jell-O cupsso many delicious choices beautifully displayed on cake stands and platters or in sweet little dessert glasses with festive touches of ribbon!
Josie added eye-pleasing levels and interest to her table using apothecary jars of varying heights and shapes, which she filled with a great assortment of orange and green candy. I love how she tied the jars with matching ribbon and labeled the contents with printable food labels by Emma Smith. Candy is always a popular dessert table offering and a great way to tie in the color palette.
Going the extra mile always pays off when it comes to party-planning. Creating a themed eating area will always be in style. I love how traces of chevron and burlap are paired together on the dining tables to tie them to the same dessert table elements. Custom wrapped dino water bottles look amazing dressed up with orange twine, a fancy paper straw and drink me flags.
