4th of July Pinwheel Party

By  | Last Updated:

This 4th of July Patriotic Pinwheel Party by Maureen and Adria, of Anders Ruff, is as amicable as a big grin! After one look, I was completely taken in by all the amazing detail ideas of this energetic display of hospitality. Anders Ruff never disappoints! Although this celebration was for a friend who was moving to Italy, the decorations, handsome graphic prints and vibrant colors would work for the 4th of Julyor any Americana festivity. From the perfectly coordinated guest and dessert tables to the pre-packaged s’mores favors, Becca Bond Photography captured every amazing detail in this versatile, sweet summer party.

There is so much to notice at an Anders Ruff celebration! The play of patterns, repetition of colors and variety of textures provide a rhythm to the décor.

A modern navy and white polka dot backdrop set the stage for the main dessert table that emphasized the attention grabbing red, white, and blue, three-tiered pinwheel cake by Got What it Cakes.

Using stacked soup cans (yes, really!) wrapped in paper, Anders Ruff created several embellished DIY vases to hold the red and aqua sugar-coated, chocolate-covered marshmallows.

Red hat boxes were arranged as stands to hold the pinwheel topped cupcakes.  Red, white, and blue chocolate drizzled apples topped off the display.

Pinwheel crowned cookies and bouquets of unicorn pops entice a sweet tooth.

4th of July Party Cookies

Strawberries dipped in white chocolate with aqua sanding sugar look patriotic arranged on trays of red chocolate covered sunflower seeds.

Chocolate covered pretzels nestled in aqua nonpareils add to the arrangement. I love how the fun paper medallions, mini flags and pennants pull everything together.

Accent tables flanked the main dessert table in coordinating, oversized red and white polka dots. Kraft paper runners contributed texture and a laid-back vibe.

4th of July Party Drinks

One table held beverages, including the large drink dispenser filled with aqua lemonade. Drink wraps and a twist of twine were added to bottles of sparkling water.

Printable patterns wrapped the napkins and table service to coordinate with other parts of the collection.

Popcorn in red galvanized containers added more color.

The second side table was used to display more amazing treats and favors. Anders Ruff sure knows how to spoil their guests! There were bagged cookies for guests to take home as well as Kraft paper bags from Nashville Wraps that guests could fill up with treats.

Favor tins were filled with coordinating candies; s’mores kits were a huge hit with the kids.

4th of July S'Mores Party Favors

No 4th of July party would be complete without fireworks so Anders Ruff put together super sparkler favors with wrapped match boxes—another one of the small details that adds so much to a party.

This terrific pinwheel 4th of July party is spectacular! It is an amazing way to celebrate America’s birthday. It is a great way to show appreciation for the red, white and blue—it is even a beautiful way to say goodbye to a good friend moving out of the country.
