Snacks on the Go: Sprout®

By  |

Jorryn’s first tackle football season is over in one week. It’s been a good experience for him, but I admit I’m looking forward to a little bit more family time at home without practices/games five times a week. However, we won’t have too many empty calendar days because basketball is next on our schedule. And then swimming lessons begin again. Fortunately, all of my guys are agreeable with being on-the-go. I learned a long time ago to pack something to eat if we’re leaving the house. As long as they get fed quite regularly, my littles are happy — Sprout® Organic Baby Foods to the rescue!

Shay Eating Sprout

Of course Sprout® Organic Baby and Toddler Foods are the perfect go-to at home, but my appreciation for their products multiplies when we’re on-the-go. Shay, my youngest, is an eating machine! Sprout® Organic Toddler Snacks keep him happy and I can feel good that he is eating real, honest pure ingredient food—not a bunch of snacks filled with preservatives, additives, fillers or artificial flavors.

Sprout Crispy Chew

Shay has three current favorites:  Orange Fruit & Carrot Cereal Snacks (they look like little cereal pieces, but you eat them dry and they have a fruit filling), Purple Berry & Carrot Crispy Chews (they look like gummy snacks, only they’re kind of crispy instead of gummy—a real plus to Mommy!), and Apple, Blackberry, Spinach & Buckwheat Toddler Puree (think of an applesauce consistency—but in a squeezable container). These are easy to tuck in my purse or the diaper bag and they’re easy for Shay to eat without making big messes. That matters when you’re not at home!

All of the Sprout® Organic Baby and Toddler Foods are USDA certified organic and non-GMO. You can even feel good about the packaging because it is BPA free. They offer honest flavor names that match the ingredient lists so you don’t need a PhD in chemistry to understand what you’re feeding your kids. Plus, they’re easy to find at many retailers, including Albertson’s! You can print a Sprout coupon here.

Full disclosure:  Sprout® Organic Baby and Toddler Foods aren’t just for babies. Tired, hungry moms can feel good about snitching a few bites, too!
