Awesome Summer Memories #GildanFavorites
Mike, Sam and I, along with our new dog Cassie, went to visit my mom and her husband recently. Mom has two Labradoodle guardian dogs — they are dogs that you provide a home for while they are bred and then they become yours after about three litters. One of her dogs had her first litter. Mom chose to have the mama deliver the pups at her house so she has been taking care of them until they go to their permanent homes. Well, my mom’s dog had 10 puppies, so needless to say it was a bit crazy!
When we arrived, there were ONLY five puppies there — but let’s not forget my mom’s two dogs and our dog Cassie. We were so proud of the way that Cassie interacted with all the dogs. She’s just a year old, really still a big puppy herself, albeit about five times the size of the other pups! Cassie was AMAZING: kind, gentle and playful — and also ready to be their protector when needed.
Sam was in puppy love! With him being in such close proximity to so many gorgeous Labradoodles, I wanted to practice using our camera. Since I made the move to full-time blogging, I have also taken over photography duties from Mike as well.
Right before we left to visit Mom, I had just received my order from Gildan Online. I packed many of their items for our trip because the fabric is light enough and I knew it would wash and wear well.
Sam was wearing a Gildan polo shirt and Mike had on a Gildan tee, and I thought those blues would pop on camera. Gildan actually has the most comprehensive t-shirt color palette in the industry so I had lots of choices. Even though they are a huge manufacturer, Gildan only purchases 100% cotton (USA cotton) which is grown and harvested ethically under USDA and USEPA regulations. With their great quality active wear, underwear and socks at affordable prices, you can see why they are the world’s largest supplier of t-shirts and the largest sock manufacturer. You probably already have some of their products in your closet.
We grabbed Simba, one of the puppies who loves having his photo taken, and I quickly found out that taking a photo of husband, son and puppy is much harder than taking a photo of cupcakes. 🙂
I’ve been practicing my photography skills on the other dogs as well … but I am still working on getting them to be as still as a cupcake.
This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Gildan. The opinions and text are all mine.
