Magical Themed First Birthday {Boy Party Ideas}

| By Stephanie Keeping Google+Comments

Talk about a magical first birthday party! This magic themed boy's birthday party was submitted by Alex and Susan of The Inspired Occasion. Their company was recently commissioned to design and manage a 1st birthday party luncheon for 25 children and their parents at a private residence in Melbourne.

The client’s brief was to create a party theme using the children’s entertainment (a Magician) and a colour pallete of blue, green and white as the inspiration. The Inspired Occasion designed and custom made a backdrop that complemented the invitations their client had designed.

Great hosting ideas from this party

  • The 25 invited children enjoyed an hour of hosted magical activities before being spoilt with a table full of savoury party items.
  • While the children were being amused, the adults enjoyed a selection of finger food and beverages that were served under a marquee in the yard.
  • Sweet treats included in the dessert station were: vanilla cupcakes, sugar biscuits with custom designed icing toppers, green jelly cups, white chocolate ganache - blue macarons, cake pops and a candy selection on clouds including jelly beans, bonbons and choc drops
  • All guests took home a loot-bag filled with premium candy from the dessert station with themed thank you tags attached
