I wanted to follow up yesterday's post about our Bug Bash dessert tablewith a bit of a behind the scenes look. One of the hallmarks of a Spaceships and Laser Beams dessert table is that I often look for vessels that are for anything but desserts. For the Bug Bash dessert table, I used two wooden outdoor tealight holders from the garden section of my local home store ($15 for both), a decorative box ($4) and two cork tiles from my local dollar store ($1 for both).
