Vintage Car parties hold a special place in our hearts here at Spaceships and Laser Beams. So when Kim, one of the members of our team, found this dessert table on Flickr, I was thrilled to see another fabulous take on a fabulous theme for boy's parties. This party was created by the owner of Blue Cupcake (they're amazing!), Julie, to celebrate her son's fifth birthday. She had the request "Mama, I want a Hot Wheels party".  I think what they came up with is the perfect compromise for a little boy who wants a commercial theme and a mom who wants style and a less mass market approach. I LOVE that.
